AP1, stock ride height, future drop of 1.5'' max. 99% DD, 1% track.
looking at 17 x 8 +50 and 17 x 9 + 60.
I like the idea of 225/45 and 255/40. would this be a good set up compared to 225/40, 215/45 or 245/40?

^What offset are the wheels you are looking at? They would need to be +55 or higher to not roll the fenders.

After some research i´m looking at this combo.

upload an image

What do ypu think?

With 225/40-17 front and 255/40-17 rear.

Can I go with this without roll or pull the fenders?
I want it to look as good as possible but don´t want to leave the fender in a corner after some curbs.

I found this car with the same rims and tyres.

That car has wider asm front fenders. The rear may be doable without a roll depending on camber and height. Front is more dicey since the wheel turns it's much easier to run and grab. I'd say at one height it's ok but lowered will need a roll.

Hey guys! I'm thinking about buying a set of te37 but what size will you recommend me for an ap2 with spoon front wide fenders, asm reader fenders, and project mu bbk in the front? I want the tires to be as flush as possible to the fenders without ever rubbing... Thanks in advance guys!

im a little confused by some of this. When it states
+50 to +54 offset: 255 tires, 8.0" - 9.5" wide whee

Is that to say that a 255 tire will only fit between +50 to +54 without rubbing, or is that saying that the 8" needs +50 and the 9.5" needs +54.

Also how close are these measurements. If you are at +49 does that mean you will rub? Are these the ideal offsets or the max or the min???

thanks

This guide is very conservative. Things can be done to fit wider wheels with lower offsets but there is a limit.

BTW anyone have recommendations on sites to look for lightweight 17" wheels for the S2000? I want to run 215-225 out front, and 245-255 rear and be significantly lighter than AP@ wheels and lighter than AP1 if possible. Tirerack is good at showing weights but many other sites are not and i cant find the weights easily. Any preferred sites? Im a former WRX owner so SubyDude (now wheeldude) was a great site but there at very few S2000 wheels there. Looking for <17 lbs in 17". And i hate the look of the Enkei Racing RPF1. The O.Z. mentioned above are OK but i prefer the look where the spokes make it all the way to the wheel width for instance these wheels

How deep are your pockets and how light do you want? Prett much any forged wheel will be significant lighter. Volk, wedsport, advan, gram light, etc all have wheels that are much lighter and the weights can be found online.
