Ferrari are responsible for employee actions against other employees and external customers.
anyways....ISC 151 c)
"Any fraudulent conduct or any act prejudicial to the interests of any competition or to the interest of motor sport generally".
what NS did while he was a F employee absolutely falls under this....and if not him (as he maintains), someone else at F violated this code.
you can't have it both ways....if you consider MC to be an employee of M, then NS has to be considered an employee of F at the time of all this....they can both be considered "rogues"...i can buy that....but not one, and not the other.
if not specifically, then generally, this entire debacle is not good for the "interest of motor sport", is it?
anyway, let's see what happens....
[QUOTE=PLYRS 3,Aug 1 2007, 07:31 AM] you know better than to say that....if you or i leak something to the industry about our businesses, we're gone....our responsibilities do not end at nor are limited to fellow colleagues and customers only.

Exactly my point! You as an employee have broken the trust of your company by giving out information that YOU were trusted with! So they fire you - done. That does not make the other party that received the information innocent.
and no, it's not done at that point....if you work for a company that is also regulated by another body, just because you're fired, does not mean it's done.
i can't believe you think M is more culpable than F....
if an F employee hadn't given the info to an M employee in the first place, we wouldn't be having this convo, would we?

Ferrari fired NS after they found out, MC is still employeed at McLaren - he was only suspended - why?
why is that?
who do you think commited the bigger faux-pas?
Because he broke the trust of the company and was fired! Why is this so difficult for you to understand???
Answer my questions - but you can't without proving yourself wrong....

You keep avoiding answering the questions that are at the root of the problem....

You want to minimize the guilt on McLaren who we now know knew about MC having stolen data from Ferrari and trying to shift the blame of the crime onto Ferrari who Stepney betrayed.
That is absolutely laughable!
Did the FIA find Ferrari guilty of breaching 151c? No....who DID they find guilty of breaching 151c....oh that's right - MCLAREN....
Obviously not since McLaren would not have had stolen secret info - you're not serious are you????
...and if McLaren had went to the FIA after they knew about this in March - this would not have happened....but that did not happen - which is the root of the problem....
Still avoiding the questions....

i've always maintained that if M are wrong, so are F...nothing more, nothing less.
