d.i.brundell has posted.

Earlier in the evening I done also observe a similar incident involving a silver McLaren vehicle driven by an IC3 male, one Mr Lewis Hamilton of Great Britain, what done make contact with a red Ferrari vehicle driven by an IC2 male, one Mr Felipe Massa of increasingly limited ability. For Mr Hamilton this done be an important lesson in remembering that you done be an extremely talented racer and done need to just calm the f@#k down. Over and out.

Massa did his thing in the media area as Hamilton was about to begin his interviews.

Rather foolishly he then decided not to give those interviews. He could really have gained the high ground by apologising for what was a small error.

It seems Massa's got a new role at Ferrari in addition to being much slower than Fernanado, that is to disrupt McLaren drivers as much as possible. cf the incident with Button at Melbourne.

Why do we need an explanation from Hamilton? He made a mistake whilst alongside Massa, nothing else to say reallt. I'm not sure why F1 drivers need to explain their actions every time there is a coming together. Why Schumacher tried to put Ruben's into the pit wall, that demands an explanation. This simple racing incident does not.

Yes Lewis should apologies to Massa for buggering up his race. That would be the gentlemanly thing to do.

I wouldn't say Hamilton is arrogant, immature and/or not intelligent. What he is, is a very focused and competitive driver, who believes he has what it takes to win. I hope all the drivers think like that, other wise they need to surrender their seat to someone who wants to win and has that self belief.

No doubt seeing Vettel in the fastest car driving off into the distance does get the better of him at times. He wants to be up front at the cutting edge, but due to mistakes he finds himself further down the pecking order. Once he's calmed down a bit he'll be a much better driver imo. I still rate him over anyone else out there for driving talent, and some of his overtakes have been very impressive. However this year's not been his best, and Jenson has really upped his game this year.

I couldn't give a 4x what Hamilton thinks about anything, but it seems that some people are rather exercised by the idea of an explanation, so my comments were directed at them.

They are all focused and competitive or they wouldn't be racing drivers.

However, I'm sure you'd accept that focus and competitiveness are not all held in equal measure. So it is with arrogance/self-confidence, maturity and intelligence.

People are different.

Meh, Massa and Hamilton, boring as. Massa is whinging because he is shit and constantly outperformed by Alonso and has become the tea boy. When Ferrari get rid of him next year and replace him with Kimi, then Ferrari will be interesting, but they won't do that because it would upset the very precious Teflonso who doesn't like a competitive team mate.

Great result for Button, Di Resta and Webber and it was great to see Team Lotus having a strong result with Kovy in 14th and keeping Renault behind. If TL can get quali sorted, then I can see them being very competitive.

Next race Suzuka...where Vettel will be crowned WDC.

In 2008 Massa nearly nearly won the title, and Kimi looked lacklustre all year. I can't imagine Ferrari would entertain the idea of Raikonnen coming back. I don't think Massa is driving all that badly; he's frequently qualifying and finishing within one or two places of Alonso. Remember the joke that was Luca Badoer, followed by the less disastrous but still not really up to it Fisichella. Unless someone like Vettel or Hamilton is tempted, I can see Massa staying at Ferrari for a few years yet.

Yeh a mid table team for Raikkonen if he does come back, personally I never rated him that highly but some do. Massa is a perfect foil for Teflonso in that he will not challenge the team leader but will drive for the team somewhat like Rubens and Schumacher, I also suspect he will be at Ferrari for some years.

The race was boring though

I read in the paper earlier in the year that Ferrari still had raikonen on contract and had paid him 12 million dollars last year,I know you cant beleive everything you read in the papers, but I also saw him a month or two ago getting out of a rally car wearing ferrari overallls, and he certainly was not rallying a ferrari.
I dont think lewis is arrogant,I think he has the same mentality that Nigel Mansell had, which was do or die.
