I wouldn't say it was a great race, the circuit is way too wide the cars look tiny on it. It was an enjoyable race, and I thought it was fantastic to hear golden boy whinging into the radio 'how dare he pass me, please do something about it' then his engineer 'stop whiining and focus on your job ... petulant child' ... OK I paraphrased a bit but it was something like that.

I thought the result was good, so what is the deal at brazil, can Alonso win the title, what position does Vettle and alonso need to finish in in order for that to happen.

Roll on next weekend!

It's something like Alonso needs to win with Vettel lower than 5th. Which sounds a lot like the situation in 2008.

If it rains it could shake things up, but you still wouldn't bet against Vettel at least being on the podium. As I said, realistically that means Alonso needs Vettel to have a DNF. The whole championship could depend on that alternator.

I'm not an Alonso fan, but i'd rather he win it that Vettel.
He's a more complete driver in my view and hence, he deserves it more.

Alonso is not better than Vettel, how can you possibly arrive at that conclusion? The two fastest drivers are Vettel and Hamilton.

I'd put the three of them the same. I'll be cheering on Alonso, if for no other reason than Vettel's won the last two and certainly made the sport boring last year.

Considering Vettel looked to have a clear advantage and be in a league of his own all the way through practice, Hamilton really was amazing in Q3 and again in the race.

Vettel should have penalised for his dangerous driving.

I beg to differ TBH. Problem is that we'll never know as there'll never be a point where they're both in the exact same car. If they were, I believe that Alonso would finish ahead of Vettel 70-80% of GP's.

Vettle loses it when he's put under pressure; this has been seen time and again and I think that he'll lose it again in Brazil when it really matters.

That's why I put my money where my mouth is and backed Alonso to take the title a few months ago.

And whilst Hamilton may be fast, he's erratic and can't be counted on at all. Not only that, I think McLaren leave a lot to be desired when it comes to team help. There are reliability issues, pit-stop problems and some awful tactics sometimes. I think Whitmarsh needs to be replaced if McLaren are to stand any chance of claiming another title.

I say that above being a huge McLaren (Button) fan. I just hope they iron out the problems before next season and give Button a fighting chance.

During hamiltons overtake? I did think he moved twice to block but would probably want to see that a few more times to be certain

I thought he jinked sideways just to give Hamilton a bit of a scare. Which is a pretty dubious tactic.
