Mateschitz favours Webber greatly from what I've read.

The other person who comes out of this badly is Horner who is now in effect a plastic team leader.

It's obvious that Red Bull is Vettel's team and he can pretty much dictate what happens without repercussion.

Contrast Horner's radio messages to Vettel with those of Ross Brawn to Rosberg and you'll see how a strong and respected team leader communicates with his drivers.

Vettel is a pillock.

"Come on Seb, this is Silly" vs "Nico, Lewis is following team orders so you're going to as well, we're bringing the cars home as they are"

I wouldn't mess with Brawn!

Horner, on the other hand, seems a bit of a wet.

What ? another year of F1 with loads of controversy. surely not

I've never been a huge fan of team orders. Yes, there is a constructors championship but I dont believe there would be many fans who would say they watch it for that. Ban them I say. We want to see racing, not processional drives to the line. although how that could be enforced is another debate - cue those Ferrari coded signals to change position.

As for mr vittel...it just goes to show his arrogance within the team, and I would hope Webber makes a big thing of it. As for giving the favour back...well thats not going to happen is it.... I think if Mark had won they'd be in the same points now.

This kind of thing just robs the fans of exciting climaxes to the season, we end up with just half a dozen of the teams golden boys battling it out for the title when really it should be much more open than that.

I'm surprised Bernie hasn't commented yet. he's normally qutite outspoken on these things.

still. season is getting off to an exciting start so mustn't grumble...

...and did anyone manage to lip read what Nicole said when Lewis drove into the wrong pit. I'm sure it was something like "what a plonker" !

Yes I've heard that, whereas Helmut Marko (Red Bull Motorsport Director) has been publicly critical of Webber. You get the impression there's quite a lot of friction within Red Bull, and not just the two drivers.

Sounds fair.
I'd loved to have seen the McLaren boys pop Lewis up on the jacks when he entered their pit, what a Divey.

Genuine question, is Divey meant to be divvy or is it something I don't know about?

Either way, they claimed it lost him 6 seconds whereas it looked to me like two maximum!

I don't understand this, an F1 racer wants to win a race and battles in to first place against team orders.

Sounds bloody good to me. Who wants to watch racing ruled by team orders?
