Honda e
It's been considered, other way around though
The modded ****er can be returned to stock but would be a hard sell with heavy mods. The std is very funny and better manners. Will take it to the thoresby classic this year I think
Neither owes me much, the std I bought for £20k ish in 2002, it will be worth that in a few years
The boosted owes me sub 10k I guess. A 44k 1999 car would be valuable stock but equally a 380bhp one with a bit of spit and polish applied is not free
Nina said sell them all and buy something else but there is literally nothing which appeals below £100k and if I were spending that on a car I would probably just choose early retirement instead

Re-using it was criminally tight (pun intended). Although Mr Track Boy swapping in the sump introduced a slight oil leak.
More haste less speed. Not much you can get wrong replacing the sump / engine oil that wasn't got wrong. Such simple tasks but oh boy.
Amateur home mechs are just that. Not all are as thorough as you Jason or - worse - falsely self confident. Botched bodywork stuck on with chewing gum tho

Yes looks like age on the rears as well I wonder how old they are. The fronts at 4mm will maybe last you but an obvious spot if the wheel is left turned.
At least you now have a receipt for the exact (and quite reasonable) cost of two more tyres. Are they the same front and back?

I think an already crushed washer would just seep a bit, he didn't torque it up imo. They are springy to an extent and can be reused though I never do.
I have seen stories of pro mechs doing the same. On my BM both cabin filter covers were broken by the BM mech

No, staggered. 225 at the back, 205 at the front Will be marginal diff in cost terms I guess, I looked just now at my local place and the smaller tyres were more pricey. Will shop around, they will last another few months at my mileage
Also the sump gasket always leaked. I don't think the block was allowed to cool off properly before the stock sump was fitted. Haste. Amateur mech.Bugger other car make stories THIS ACTUALLY HAPPENED TO ME and by another member of S2ki. He will know what he did or didn't do including glueing on a stock spoiler to hide a hole in the boot lid and using chewing gum or some such to make up for busted off clips on the front grill. Having removed a big wing and a front splitter. Botch job and botch job. Caveat emptor I suppose but failing a full AA inspection? and even then. But in time these things do emerge. Not a happy end to my S2000 experience. At least I sold with the faults uncovered admitted to. Who knows there may have been more.

Rears done, £208 fitted
Fronts.. can get PS4 or the new PS5 but both are £280 a pair which feels a bit rich considering the price of the bigger rears
Anyway, I like to squeeze life out of them but all 4 tyres lasted 14k miles ish, quite even wear surprisingly (fronts from that Uber steering, rears torque) and much better than the S2000 at about half that for rears
First money out of my wallet on the e bar 'fuel'

I guess it makes sense - the rears only provide traction whereas fronts do both steering and most of the braking effect is up front as we know.
It also figures that rear and front are different tyre treads/widths and non interchangeable (as on the S).
