Honda e
It was a total pos, horrific wind noise at 70, doors would fold in a bit of wind
had it for 12 months then gave it away basically.. dude rapped it round a lamppost.. I always imagined he died at it was so fragile

I don't think they have a choice but they are doing many hybrids I believe rather than pure BEV
I drove the base jazz hybrid and it was a vile thing, the e suits >99% of our use. It's a bit small for when we get another dog as there is no split on the rear seat but maybe by then I won't care and they can join kiddo on the back bench lol

Watched Panorama on leccy cars last night
As ever quite low journo standards "it can cost as little as £20 to charge"
My car can cost 35kwh (unlikely) times 7.5p to fill from dud
£2.60
They drove an ID Buzz. Noone mentioned the price
The thing holding back charger rollout was grid capacity they said

Mine just did to 100% overnight at 7.5p to the range PB of 153 miles.
Won't know cost until IOS update finishes on iPad.
But likely <25kWh so sub £2.
@Nottm_S2 thanks will catch up on that.
We were catching up on the star of Glasto, Candi Staton. Very tight band, good sound quality. Went on a bit but great sincere lady. 83 yo.

now it's not the full cost but 136 kWh over the month, even in my e that will get you 470-500 miles
But in reality I pay a little premium to access this price
Still, they are cheap to run and way cheaper than they suggested. Charging on the go was portrayed as a pain and if you are doing a lot of long distance don't get one as I would agree
But for core use it's a none issue for us and I have charged away from home probably half a dozen times this year
The performance of Renault Uk has Sofar been poor , the car we ordered was a stock car with pretty standard colour choice , out pr name was put on one of 13 availabe in store in Uk, 3 weeks ago , with promised delivery end of this week, that now gone out to 11th July , how long does it take to get a car to dealer one has to ask , Renault Uk won’t answer phone !
Big corp cluster****ery
Mine was sat there as a liability so they cleaned it and chucked it on a wagon lol
I got a random email from marshals saying they would sell me a warranty. For a hair dryer made by honda which has very little to break really
£350 a year. No tah.
I intend to run it for peanuts, that is the entire point

Never mind @CHIPPO gives you more time to get your charger/SMET2 and tariff set up.
@Nottm_S2 any idea why the Intelligent 'Go' tariff low rate is pitched 2p lower than the old original 'Go' fixed tariff? It is otherwise identical except the low rate is for six hours rather than four. I am looking for a catch, why are they deliberately trying to lure punters off the old fixed 'Go' tariff onto the 'Intelligent' variant? I suppose I can ask them (again) and get a non answer (again).

Not sure Rog
It's working very well for me. It even charged during the day the other week, must've had spare juice.
Your charger is made for this. Can you boost your batteries even more or do you already fill em (in winter) in the 4hrs?
I quite like Jackson, he talks a fair bit of sense imho
They (octo) haven't said anything about new rates. BG asked me for a reading, I might pitch low on the old rate
****ing energy companies, the new banks
I'll send you my bill so you can pour over it
