Here you go: https://www.autoexpress.co.uk/tips-a...u-and-your-car
A lot of Tesla problems will be related to parts availability (there isn't any, with people having long waits for parts). Add in the performance and relatively high cost of them in first place, and Bob's your uncle.
IIRC, they are built in a differnt way to most cars as well, with very large structures meaning expensive repair costs.

And to add a bit to that my e cost £9 less than my 2001 S2 2 years ago and £40 more last year.

So ballpark similar, £300

At the time it was worth more but probably not now

I have an issue

The funky ps door handle is not working. Let's see if I can fix it. This is one of faults on these cars along with brake actuator (shares braking between regen and friction)

That was unpleasant

The door seal has manky Uber putty around it to seal, everything needed hands like Barbie.

It's working. Let's see if it stays working. The fix is to clean the door actuator then add silicon grease to it. Mine was very gnarly at the handle pivot so I am fairly sure that was the issue.

Cost £0

PITA eating 12 (scale 0-10)

Thanks. Like with most things in complex systems as a car is it is never as straightforward as the ignorati might think.

@Nottm_S2 keep em coming. Not had the 12v battery issue nor brakes actuator nor door handle but you never known

I am still swapping words with my Honda dealer about poxxy UK extended guarantee terms.

They can deem a part 'reached end of life' to avoid replacing foc.

Small print ... in Japan they do a real warranty

This, in theory, coulda killed my batt. I think they were shitty some of those panny ones.

My door handles have worked over hard as it opens whenever I leave the house as I carry the key all the time so could be my bad ish (keyless is bollox imo)

I reckon your indy would charge £60-£100 to remove and clean the door handle per side

Honda would replace and charge a lot more at £100+ an hour

Not driven the car since, will do today

So just the brake actuator to go for me in terms of common probs, although it's much less common. I have done 20k now and it does make some odd noises

I installed a battery monitor for peace of mind

I had left an OBD dongle in so perhaps contributing to my issues but charged yesterday and she is very happy today

Another option is to pull the fuse for passenger handles, above your right knee when driving

Don't know if it will throw a code though

Handles are c£500 a pop and Uber Plastique parts, don't look very serviceable apart from lube but mine has been behaved since that in some... Mixed... Weather

Fingers crossed

As an aside for the more northern minded.. 117kwh gets me, with a lead right foot, about 300 miles in cowd weather and costs less than £9

The CRV will do about 50 miles for that if lucky
