What's For Dinner?
My grandmother thought throwing bread away was a sin because it was the body of God, so it never happened with her. She would force herself to eat bread three times a day just so it would not go to waste, lol.
Chicken that I somewhat seared and cooked in garlic, onion, basil, oregano and salt and pepper and finished it with some sauce and parmesan/romano. Cooked up some spaghetti and threw some in the pan with the chicken and put some on the side and had it with butter, garlic and parmesan/romano. Had some fresh spinach also.

My Mom always used the old bread for when she made meatballs. My Mom also used to get mad if we left a little bit of food in the serving dish. She would say finish it I don't want to have 3 string beans (or whatever it was) rolling around in the fridge.
