Hello everyone! I'm planning on picking up an AP1 this fall as a daily (assuming my budget won't get me into AP2 territory). Just set aside the last dollars for the remainder of my college tuition, and am wanting to buy myself my first sports car. My budget is 13-14k and am thinking that will get me a nice 60-70k mile example of an AP1? I'm not very knowledgable about the automotive market, but I do know these cars are on their way back up. Will I have a problem finding what I'm looking for in 8 months or so? Currently driving a 300k mile '01 Accord, and can't wait to get out of it and finally in to something fun
Hello all! Been lurking for a month after buying my AP2 but decided to join and start participating. Purchased a stock 05 NFR about a couple of months ago. Have been thoroughly enjoying it. I come from driving Mustangs and Corvettes and it's a really nice change of pace. The car drives amazing and I'm really digging just how in tune with the road the car is.
Hello everyone, been eying up an S2000 since they first came out and finally it is time to own one. I helped my father find one two years ago which he enjoyed and I have now bought it from him. A 2003 GPW with the Suzuka interior. 140k kms. Stock other than the wheels and spoiler. I already have a long list in my head of tweaks I will be making, the goal will be to try and not do it all at once so I can enjoy it for years to come. I am located in Calgary Alberta Canada. I've read this forum for hours prior to joining so I am excited to tackle nearly anything that comes along on my S2000. S2KI is a great resource. Track day at Calaboogi Ontario
Hey Everyone, Thanks for letting me part of this awesome group. I am looking forward to meeting people and learning a thing or two. I currently own a AP2 with a few minor mods. Thanks again....
after about a month of serious shopping I finally purchased an 06 Suzuka blue with ~150,000. Definitely going to show this baby some love and get her into tip top shape. Oh and the 4 hour drive home was the most fun ride of my life in a car. Glad to be here. -Josh

Hi folks, proud owner of a black 2007 AP2, stock except the K&N , 95k kilometers, almost like new. Dreamed of a S2K for about 10 years, had a few civics, the last one a tunned EK4- EK9 wanna be, now the S2K is finally mine.
I'm from Slovenia, we have snow here, so the driving is kinda limited for now. I had one road trip to the sea, perfect!
For the mods probably later a hard top, for starter upper front strut bar, just because it looks great and a lower strut bar that gives the car better rigidity, so i hear from a domestic S2k user.
The previus owner had the K&N aftermarket air intake system, i think i'll change it to stock, it has a really nice sound with K&N, but i'm worried a bit for smaller particles that go through the K&N opposed to stock.
The next thing will be the mufflers, just the mufflers, but i don't have a clue which ones, i just know that they have to have a higher flow, so no or less restrictions and they have to be for an ap2 because of the oval end look.
The car will be more of a fast cruiser, no, or just a track day here and there. So, the suspension is ok for me and for now, the ride high is ok, it must not be lower because the roads here can be terrible.
The brakes are a bit weak, so maybe an upgrade in this area, but still for a normal fast local road car.
The biggest issue is to go FI or N/A. I just love the concept of a N/A engine, the screaming in high rpms, the feel of it, the response etc. But to tune a S2K more than stock in an N/A way, i worry that i'll loose the practicality, the elegance of just start up and drive feel, the beautiful noise with just aftermarket mufflers, the lesser worrying what will go wrong with a stock engine etc.
I know, i presume that the first thing to do in a N/A tuning concept is an aftermarket exhaust mainfold, decat and aftermarket mufflers, but i worry it will be just too loud. The days when i liked/could take the exhaust loudnes "blood dripping from my ears" are a bit over, i think. And there is the high price for good N/A aftermarket parts. But with a smaller FI, i think it'll be easier and less of a worry. Don't know, need help also in this area.
I'll be very grateful for your help, assistance and guidance.
