I do not know the actual differences between the 2 models. I'm sure the answers to that can be found at www.aempower.com on their forums.
You should have gotten more than 8...the older S2k's have really rich fuel maps, which is why they get such a performance increase going with 02 or 03 ECU's....my car was so pig rich it wasn't even funny.
Now my car sips at the gas
Most of my additional power came from adjusting the timing...and re-tweaking the AFR after advancing the timing.
