I will get my car running again by Tuesday...been carless for almost a month due to blown diff at the wrong time. All the Comptech housings were out of stock and backordered so it took a while before those came in and then it was time to get the diff built, which should be done tomorrow, and then shipping. But 4.57's here I come...hopefully it'll be fun...next thing I'll probably get done is a front lip, re-tune, and custom brackets made to hold the hardtop in with all for bolts nice and secure with the soft-top out (so minus 60lbs!). Engine though will be like stock.

So what's the word on something like a Comptech non A/C S/C vs a goon N/A setup?

What sort of mods would need to equal that setup?

Trouble in the UK is that we have no decent mappers. So any N/A mods would have to be mapped with a a piggyback (Unichip or HKS F Con)

Also, what is achievable with the stock zorst? If you went for a good intake (I have Gruppe M) a Spoon venturi TB, Header such as J's and a decat - would the stock zorst become a big restriction?

There is another post on here where some are saying the stock zorst flows pretty well - its just heavy.

Hi Juan, I asked becuase a guy I know from here said he was ditching his Comptech S/C because a well setup N/A S2000 had kept up with him! It was gears, header, ECU, intake, TB from memory. Anyone got a video of such a thing happening??

My next question was really about when and if the stock exhaust becomes an issue....

My car has not sold, so guess im keeping it now - not too disappointed! I would like a Comptech but no body wants to sell one 2nd hand to the UK So that leaves N/A mods or import a new S/C...

I was hoping to get EMS this week, but my stock clutch is starting to get really bad. Looks like a clutch has to come first, one day.
