road and track apparently found out that honda will have a new s2k out in 2008. redesigned look, and better handling due to the increase aerodynamics and rigid body. They are planning to give it the 2.4liter k24 motor, and it's said to have 250hp, and 180ftlbs torque!!!! wow maybe I should buy this down the line.

they are also considering a V6, maybe.




Although the new supra scheduled to come out in 2008 looks amazing.

in other news, anyone hear anything about the Amuse hi-tech ROM? is that fancy amuse talk for ECU?

 

i say they dump the boosted K23 in there and crank the boost to make around 300hp or so. price it at 37k and call it a day.

 

its a factory ecu reprogramed. much like the mugen ecu, its tuned for mid range gains.

 

hmm yeah i did a search and found some answers. apparently you have to have the whole ecu come from japan because amuse won't take a usdm ecu and reprogram it... i guess that's a waste...

 

yep, if your looking for mid-range its hard to beat mugen.

I feel you on everything you mentioned, but it'll be a great upgrade for the S. I wonder though if the redline will drop again!!!!
