it sucks being out of the game...good luck to everyone.

version I'm hoping you reach your 230 mark brothaman. An nsx would be a sweet deal. I had a chance to drive the shit out of a 99 , and an 05 nsx when I worked for acura (kinda against the rules....got caught doing so....and probably why I got fired a little later on too , couldn't pass up the chance though), and the car is a work of art.

I'm ordering my gears from hardtop guy this week, waiting on them to send me a reply back on a couple things for the deal to go through. 4.57's will be the frst investment on my way back into the hussle .

We should hook-up one of these weekends and compare cars.
my stock S against your 225whp S...i'd say you have the advantage . it would be fun though just to have some excitment. I've been babying the car until it was time to buy the diff.

however with my new work schedule thankx to my classes starting again I will not have much free time. I'm stuck wih working everyday except tuesdays!!! I'm hoping o keep my morning hours atleast but that may have to be sacrificed for some days to closing.

how are your turbo plans coming along?

I still have my turbo plans and i really don't want 4.57's with a turbo set-up, but i need to change my diff now before it blows and i wreck or get stuck somewhere with my foot up my ass

sounds swee, lucky you! I have to say though that I felt the 99 was a much better car then the 05. I'm not sure why exactly but it felt a tad bit quicker, and a lot more responsive. I will also say that the first two gears felt similar to the s2k, but once in third the nsx would start flying.

they dont seem any faster to 60 than the s2k, but they really move in 3rd!

I am talking about after you get your gears.

My turbo plans have changed. Here are my current plans:

1. Buy a house around summer of '07.
2. Sell the wife's Civic and buy a new Tacoma.
3. 1-2 years after that the wife gets the S2000 and I get a C6 Z06 (1-2 years old).
sounds like some great future plans. Hope they work out for ya. except I'd say change the C6 Z06 to the C6 stingray that's going to come out soon. The concept looks amazing. Going to weigh the same as the solstice(2900lbs), and have 600hp!!!!

2qyk4u, how much power did you pick up with the EMS vs stock ecu with bolt-ons?

With the Hondata ECU reflash, I made 15-20rwhp more between 4200-6000 RPMs. Peak power increased by 2-3rwhp.

I didn't make any additional power with the AEM EMS, as Hondata pretty much had the car running perfect when they did the reflash.

Watch out fellas--the T1R 70RT is on and the difference is like whoa!

No placebo effect here--there is a definite difference in power. The car is pulling harder throughout the entire powerband and through each gear. The exhaust looks sweet too!

This exhaust is freaking loud though! I would say it is similar to the exhaust I just had taken off, and close to the Invidia as well, so I am used to a loud exhaust. There is also mad drone/raspiness when letting off the gas and/or downshifting. Oh well. There are going to be pros and cons to every exhaust. A turbo will definitely resolve these issues.

I am very excited to get back to the dyno!
