Cool, thanks guys. I don't mind it being loud in Vtec, but I was getting my hopes up because I have heard that it is fairly well mannered below Vtec, so hopefully I can live with it as a daily driver.

Your posts regarding the T1R have been very helpful and were basically what got me interested in it in the first place. Do you have any old sound clips or videos? I am trying to see if it is only insanely loud in VTEC. If that is the case, it is a for sure buy for me. But if it is going to be so loud that I can't stand it, maybe I will opt for something else.

I just got an awesome digital camera recently that would have made some badass videos/clips but it was after I took off the exhaust. The exhaust is loud, but not as loud as the invidia. It's resonated so it just sounds like you're under a tunnell all the time 
On all our club drives up in the mountains, everyone was always like "dude, you car sounds so sick, I can't believe it"Don't fool yourself into thinking it isn't a loud exhaust because it is - however it sounds SO good and SO deep that you might not mind it at all - I know I didn't
I'd try posting up a thread asking for someone to post some clips and maybe that'll help you. There is NO rasp, and NO rattling. It just sounds like this deep thunder coming out of the back of your car. Just wait until you do some VTEC downshifts...

I know you are going turbo, but why not keep the T1R 70? Are you doing a custom 3 inch or something? Let me know.. because I think the T1R would be too loud for me NA because of the police in my area, but if I go turbo... it might not be too bad because of the turbo acting as a muffler.
