stick with your ecu, just use the Vafc to lean that bitch out and drop vtec to 5600

Those type of modifications do not make power (in terms of both rwhp and ft-lbs)
I'm not sure I follow. I agree that lighter flywheel or lighter wheels won't make more hp at the crank. But they can make a difference to rwhp. Take a look at the way a DynoPack dyno works compared to a DynoJet...DynoPacks generally show higher numbers compared to a DynoJet, and part of the reason is that the DynoPack attaches directly to the hub so there is no hp loss due to overcoming the wheel's intertia.

02-03 ecu for sure makes more power. We just did an install and then dynoed and it def makes power. The car made 20 more whp but he added TP and 70rr in there with the ecu upgrade.

I think we are saying the same thing. I was simply stating that items like lightened flywheels, lightened pulleys/tensioners, light-weight rotors, etc. reduce rotational mass and therefore allow the car to accelerate quicker.

Here's an idea. On the first post do a bio about each of the participants in this thread. Include their screen name, MY, rwhp, rwtq, their mods, future mods, dyno chart and a few pics of their cars
