Another dyno gain game:

Muz Cold Air Snorkel 50.00?
K&N Drop-in Filter 45.00
Berk 62.5 Testpipe 100.00
BC 65mm Spec III Single 517.00
Apexi VAFC II 13.5:1 A/F 330.00

Total Cost app. 1042.00

About 20whp???
I know the point of this mod list is to gain hp, but the buddy club exhaust is kinda ugly. It sticks out like 6-8 inches out the bumper.

Dont get his hopes up guys. One car may gain 8hp from an exhaust while another may only get 3hp from the same one.

Why are you guys still messing with exhaust or a mere test pipe?

in the quest for ultimate power, you replace the cat with a test pipe with a cutout built into it.

Now it doesnt matter what exhaust you run, hell you can run stock if you want, keeps it nice and quite for 90% of your driving

When you want the sweet power that comes from running an open header you just open up the cutout. Get yourself one of those electric ones to make life easier on yourself.

you DONT get mad power from running open header. i drove around open header for two days while my 70mm was being made. my car was hopelessly gutless and totally embaressed driving around with it like that.

actually it would be interesting to see what happens through that. Imagine having only a tp with stock exhaust down low. Once you've reaced a certain rpm you can switch on the vlavle system to run the open exhaust and get more power up top. Top end you'll get more power running an open header type system, but it's your bottom end that will be effected in the negative. This may be a good thing.

Why not try it for us deathsled and tell us how it goes?

^^^That makes absolutely no sense...every race car I know is open header, including s2000's...
I took my exhaust off one day just for fun, and holy crap and a half my car was fast...it was much, much, much too loud though. Made cool fireballs when I hit the gas
