Wow. 190 seems a bit low, but your 26 hp gain with header-back is AMAZING. Jeeze. Were there differences between the dynos? Air temperature? Oil used? Etc.?

The V2 and a tuned VAFC should get you close at your rate. Your car seems VERY accepting of modifications. With a header and TB I bet you'll be there.

yeah i was a bit dissapointed with the stock numbers, but the new numbers look promising. 26hp gain was very impressive. I listed all possible variables that I could think of in the origional post.

What other mods do you have planned?

About to order some 4.57-R gears and some lighter wider wheels + tires, so I can reach my 12.9 goal, retire the s2k from 1/4 mile racing and stick to auto x Spugen/wilwood bb kit and further weight redux down the road, need to get my DSM drag car project going first.

What's she run now??

I wouldn't mind hitting 12's myself, but I'm still not sure if I want to invest in gears yet. Although you probably won't see 12's NA without them.

Sorry guys, but I have to ask. I have a mod list that I want to go with. I don't really have a set hp mark that I'm shooting for, but how much HP do you think the average 00' would make with:

K&N FIPK
J's header
T1R 70 w/ testpipe
Tuned VAFC II

215-220ish?????

Louie - youll get there, dude. Do Mustangs read high or low? There is one that is most accurate, but reads low (dynojet?), there is one where you take your wheels off (dynapack?), and Mustang which leaves wheels on and reads high, correct?
I mix my dynos up. Either way, I want the highest reading dyno that leaves the wheels on. HAHAHA.

I am not sure if you'll hit 12.9 even with the gears. That is beating the average E46 M3, which ain't an easy task. Youll need to be down towards 2650 lbs, 240whp, and 4.57 gears to give them a run *I PREDICT*. But best of luck to you!

Yeah, to the guy above, you might be in that range. It depends on the condition of your engine, too (mileage). If you get some new oil in there with a tune up or valve cleaner, you should be okay. The tuned VAFCII will take away the other weaknesses from the earlier years. Your intake is okay, and your exhaust flow is as good as it gets. I bet you're in that range you said.
Compared to you... Your header is a little better, and my intake is a little better. Then I have a lightweight flywheel. So we are pretty similar and I am crossing my fingers for 225whp... So I hope you are 220 range!!! We all just need to stop talking and get to the dynos.. haha

well I ran 13.9@101.67 with a 2.3 60ft, berk test pipe and invidia. If I can bring my 60ft down to a more respectable 1.9-2.0 I could run 13.4-13.5. Add gears, intake and VAFC and I should be damn close to 12.9. All depends on traction.

I would think so - My set-up is identical, except I have AEM EMS - Shooting for 220-225
