Thankx I wish the car and exhaust were still around now. I never had a dyno without it so I cannot compare. I put down mid 220whp's on my only dyno day wih full bolts ons and flywheel. I didn't feel a loss in powe at all with it. I'd say on a good day(my dyno day conditions were horrible) my car maye have been around 230whp. That was without tunning.

The muffler itself cost me $300
3 inch headerback, Intake?, and a toda FW?

what kinda full bolt-ons are you talking about,

and did you dyno on a dynojet??

dynoed on a dynojet with Em V2, hytech header, berk tp(big time botlenecking, probably robbed my ass of good power), and 3" system, with toda flywheel and hondata intake amnifold gasket. Can't get anymore bolt-on then that. Wish I could have gotten an ems though to tune.

Alright Nate, you were the one telling ME that you didn't want a loud exhaust...and now you're jonesing for an INVIDIA!!!

At least get a 70mm T1R Sparrow!

BTW...I was just reading the Invidia V3 has 70mm tubing, but the flanges are still 63mm. Maybe you can grind them a bit bigger before you install.
Well, since my car is loud as all hell now, trying to keep my exhaust quiet is about pointless.

Actually, when I go get it retuned, I'm going to have them do a run at the end open header and see what it'd do w/o any exhaust to restrict it.

Wildcard, when you're going to get the S2000 retuned, for the last run, can you unbolt your testpipe and just do a run on the open header, so to see what kind of top end numbers you'll get? Pleeeeease?
...I guess I really need to read ALL the unread posts before I reply

guys we should have the mods make a new envelope(refering to the image of the envelope on the left of every topic in the forums). I noticed active threads get the red envelope, so...I was thinkin it would be kool(seeing as how this is the greatest thread in s2ki history, and is always active) that we ould get a burning envelope.

half the posts in here are just chit-chat back and forth.
i bet ALL the usefull N/A tunning info in here can be posted in a single day.

still a good thread anyways.

true but thats mainly because pretty much everything has been covered. Until companies start giving us mre options(cams, srange bolts that supposedly give 20+ hp lol) then we don't really have to many new things to discuss.

You would still see the benefits of your mods, but everything you do to modify your car works in symbiosis with other mods. Without changing your exhaust, you won't be able to see all the power that you otherwise would have from whatever other mods you'll do.
Hmm what would be your guess if I get all bolt ons and plus fujitsubo legalis R???

That is - comptech intake, berk tp, TB, thin head gasket, toda/Js header, toda flywheel and vafc?
oh and krankvents

And with the intake manifold- if I get it matched with big throttle body would it have any bad effect when I put the stock TB back on?
Cos I would like to take off all these parts and sell them separately when I sell the car (unless someone wants to buy it as is and put some cash for the mods)

Hard to say, but lets play hypothetical:
Lets say your baseline peak at 195 @ 8200 rpms...
VAFC tune FIRST. Now you'll peak about 205 @ 8750
then Comptech CAI might get you to 209
then Fujistubo legalis R might get you to 213, but it'd be needed to make the numbers that'd follow:
Berk tp to 219
j's header to 227
toda's flyweel to 230
krank vents to 232
thin head gasket to 238 (big power if other mods are there to help, my guess)
and a ported throttle body and matched manifold at the end to tap 240.

These numbers are all speculative, and depend ALOT on the health of your motor.
...that's my guess. I'd say for safeties sake, add a +/-20% error to all the gains up there.

Putting the stock throttle body back onto a ported manifold really isnt going to affect that much.
