Reliability of raising the displacement comes with the quality of parts used, method of increasing CC, and of course the tune.
Ive heard both good and bad things about Inline Pro. Ive never worked with them or their products, so I wont comment.

If you bore it out for CC, youll have thinner sleeves, and need new pistons at the least.
If you get a full stroker kit from a reputable company and get all of the parts needed (most common way to raise displacement), youll be fine with a good tune on an AEM EMS.

Yep, still NA, and fast to boot!

2.5L wow! Reliability is probably what would be the issue there. There is a member currently running this inline kit, and I believe he's making 250whp with bolt-ons. It's the torque that is drastically increased with this set-up. The tune is what you'de wan to focus on once this is done. Should be one quick set-up.

He made 250whp without the ITB's. I never saw a post of the results with the ITB's on his car, but I believe he is now selling them. Don't know why though.

Ahh... I never saw his lastest dyno than. I saw he was selling them also. Hmmm oh well. Impressive #s, nonetheless.

How bout the inline pro 2.5L?? Isnt that considered n/a and will be about the same price with all bolt ons? And what is the reliability on uping the liters?
all the stroker kit made by inline pro has failed... DO a search

wow I thought people only had problems if they allowed inline to install the kit. I didn't know the kit was the essence of there problems.

Yes...2.5L is still considered N/A, but my goal is a little more percise. I want to stay either 2.0L or 2.2L "stock size." I just think that there is a lot of power still untapped in the engine as it is...I mean, a 250whp 2.0L! I haven't decided yet if I want the extra torque I can get from a 2.2L. I mean, I would like the extra torque from a 2.2 but it will require a crank as well. If I find a cheap F22c crank, I'll probably bump up, because I also plan to continue reving to 9000.

Anyway, ya, I just don't want to go above stock sizing, don't know why...I just don't

as much as i would like that added power, and big increase in torque, something just makes me not want to do it. I'll stick with my little 2.2L

I know this is an NA post, and im sure its been commented on, but the expense of the power targets on here are immense!

A Comptech w/o ac (or even with, if you need it) will keep the VTEC character of the car, give a load more power and torque, and its easy to fit.

For the money you cant beat a simple bit of compressed air...

Some of the claims seem to be a little fishy to me too. Again im sure its been done to the death but its the before and after dyno figures that count, due to the subjective nature of a dyno.
