I know this is an NA post, and im sure its been commented on, but the expense of the power targets on here are immense!

A Comptech w/o ac (or even with, if you need it) will keep the VTEC character of the car, give a load more power and torque, and its easy to fit.

For the money you cant beat a simple bit of compressed air...

Some of the claims seem to be a little fishy to me too. Again im sure its been done to the death but its the before and after dyno figures that count, due to the subjective nature of a dyno.

You can make your power goals with a completely stock F22 block, F20 cams, AEM EMS and a good intake/header/exhaust. In fact, I think you'll go well over your goals (about 245-250 whp on a Dynojet)[/qoute]

other choice if you want a F20

AEM V1.
Hytech Header, the best, or Toda or J' racing
Test Pipe
Free flow EX
Head Work
AEM EMS....

it is not all HP Mark I got 390 with my turbo but I feel most of the mis useless in Spain in narrow roads but on highways.. bbye M3's M5's Carreras.

It all depend on your goals, My dream is a NA with 280-290 hp... that is why I am selling my turbo

No but you could quite easily bleed off boost once the blower is on, or change pulley size to suit Juan. I agree its not all bhp but the post is about achieving a target, and unless money is no object you cant discount NA can you???

Agree your point on the car being limited on the roads, can be frustrating. I had an STi with a lot of power and was very useable!

I was going for 240-250whp on 2.0L, but I was going to rev to 9300rpm and do everything. Now Im lazy to do the installs and shooting for 230whp without touching the block.

Hehe. My exhaust is the weakest factor. It's going to be a Sparrow. I think my 70r would help so much more. Whatev.

I've already had turbo fun(300+whp Eclipse)...it is nice, but like you even mentioned...its not all useable, its not all instant, its not necessarily faster. Straight line, absolutely...around a track? I'd bet that many on tracks a strong N/A car will beat a high hp F/I car, especially the more technical ones...but probably not on those with more straight areas.

I also think that staying N/A keeps the same nature of the car, the one that just feels right. IMO I also think that N/A in most cases when tuned properly is simply more reliable. I understand fully that the S/C's are very reliable as well especially on low/stock boost but with N/A, the motor is putting the strain on itself, rather then something else helping it straing itself a little more...

So in many ways I think the money spent on a good N/A setup is well worth it, and while not faster in a straight line, its wont be too far off, and IMO will be faster in many of the twistys.

Now the problem here is, nobody has really done this. Nobody has tested this and publically announced results, problems, etc. So honestly we don't know the exact results. But I think that the F20c/22 is a very potent motor and has a lot of potential, people so far just haven't really been interested in tapping into it, or going through the trouble to get it. But now, the car is finally in hands of some individuals who do want to try it out...if it doesn't quite fall through. I'll lower my compression slightly (from 12:1) and slap on a BRP supercharger

The BRP is the one that "mimics" N/A like response and performance but ohh it brings the power to the table.

Here is the setup I am going for...
I have a MY 2005

AEM V2 CAI
Megan Header
T1R 70R Exhaust
00-01 ECU swap
VAFC-II
Hondata Gasket Heatshield
Mugen Cooling mods
Removed Slave Cylinder

I am pretty confident I will be pushing out 230whp.
And for minimal cost too

Red=not done yet
Right now I have my stock ecu and Invidia Exhaust

(1) 4.77 gears: best bang for the buck. They give the car more low-end/mid-range.
4.77s are my next mod, best bang for the buck!!
