they should come preset for their mods but not for the engine, every engine is different

J's ECU for one can be pre-tuned from factory according to your mods.
But its a good option for who does not have access for proper tuning.

Yeah. That is another reason why I went with a tunable one. They don't know my engine!!!

Not a lot.
Both of them are "piggy back" systems that modify your stock ECU.

I think the Emanage has more tuning options, like timing.
The BC ECU is a little cheaper, and cheaper to tune. I don't have extensive mods, so I just needed to tune AFR, so I opted for it (BC) over the Emanage.

I would say Emanage is one up on the BC ECU, but only needed if you have more than breather mods. My mods are just air-flow, and a flywheel pretty much so I don't need to play with timing or other features of the Emanage (like boost).

How are you enjoying your Emanage?

Another option to tune AFR is the VAFC.

You should have a black VAFCII

Yeup. I did use your VAFCII. But I couldnt find a great tuner here, not that it requires extensive tuning... I sold it to a local guy and he is loving it.

The BC ECU is similar to the VAFC. They do the same thing, but the BC can set AFR at more RPM points and with more throttle positions. And AJ-R is going to tune it for me.

Don't you get impatient sometimes when you talk about these things....I know I do. Then again it's like you can't help but talk about it. I keep wanting to post my mods, and discuss, blah blah, etc.

I'm also looking to reach that 230 NA mark
I put down 190 stock, and 216 with berk and invidia.
dyno chart plus info
V2 sitting on my counter and VAFC in the mail. Dyno tune next month. See how close that puts me.
