Nice link!! Hahaha... Skip, I finally watched 300 in HD today.
Wow...amazing.
Wow...amazing.
Haven't had time to watch it yet.
Was at BJ's a day or two ago, browsing their DVD section. They have "The 300 Spartans", the movie that supposedly sparked the comic, which supposedly sparked "300". I tell you, if I didn't know "300" was the real action flick, I would have easily picked up "The 300 Spartans" instead and been severely disappointed. The covers are very close in style, and even the words "the" and "spartans" are diminished in size to make the "300" stand out by itself. Deceptive packaging, if I ever saw it...
I just hooked up the Monoprice HDMI 5x1 remote switcher and it works like a charm. It's a great buy for less than $60. It's a small, straightforward and easy to use device. All 5 of the HDMI cables from Monoprice work fine too. Thanks again for the tip.

Rob, is the reason you purchased the switcher because you do not have a receiver capable of the number of HDMI inpts you require? I'm not well-versed in switchers.
My media box for the Pio has 2 HDMI inputs. One is always used for the DTV HDDVR and the other is shared by the Toshiba HD-DVD player and the PS3. We manually switch the HDMI cable at the player if we want to use the HDMI. I have found little difference between HDMI and component on the PS3 though.

Skip,
I'm using the switcher on the "Family Room" TV. I'm not using a receiver in that room. The big screen, receiver and surround speakers are in the basement. The family room TV has 2 HDMI inputs but I have the cable DVR, DVD player, and wireless media player that all have HDMI. Now I can just pick up the switcher remote and select which source I need from my easy chair. I don't see a lot of difference between HDMI and component with the media player but I just can't stand the thought of the unnecessary analog conversion. I'm kind of freaky that way.
