Default S2Ks don't float

https://www.s2ki.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=835924

This seemed like a pertinent thread to bump here for the time being with the obnoxious amount of rain we've been getting.

Be safe out there guys, Dave's a mechanic not a magician. Hydrolocking=UnMerryChristmas.

Yeah, the AEM and similar drop that intake point way down into the bottom of the bumper area. You probably lose a good 12" of potential water fording ability with one of those.

The Comptech design is not going to be as bad.

Good post.

Of course my avatar shows a different approach

yeah, accidently hit a puddle the other day and my right headlight went out. I was freaking out thinking it had ruined the ballast and bulb, but after the car sitting in the garage for the night, it turned back on. Such a relief!
