How do you work out?
It's interesting to me that so many people aspire to be "bodybuilders." Why?
The two reasons that come to mind are: (a) to be more attractive to girls, and (b) to be able to intimidate guys.
I don't think either of these hold water because most girls that I know are disgusted by bodybuilder-types and most (not all, but most) big guys are terribly slow and don't fight well, so what is the real reason?

I think DeeGYM's version of bodybuilding as well as mine isn't anything close to what you're picturing in your head, Sun.
I know I'm not out to look huge or anything like that. It's almost impossible to get muscular like those dudes you see on those ESPN bodybuilding competitions without the use of steroids. I've never used any supplements outside of a protein shake.
What we're talking about, I think, is just getting cut up. A fit body like those dudes you see on men's health magazines who look like they are really cut and athletic. Not the balloon-under-your-armpits look. I hate that.
You consistently bring up martial arts and fighting. Why the need? Cuz you've made a choice to pursue those interests. Same thing with us. We enjoy lifting because it makes us feel healthier and girls seem to like it a lot.
And, believe me, there are girls who love that big, bulky look, dude. Beauty is in the eyes of the beholder.

WOW!!!! whata workout. God forbid that you'd have to move your left foot to shift or something

Mostly, I run. Training varies- in the winter I do more treadmill speedwork (otherwise treadmill is WAYYY too baoring), spring I'm usually training for the Boston Marathon and am into a longer run 1 X wk with longer repeats. I'm lucky to live somewhere with great trails nearby and even in the city. In the winter I try to surf 1 or 2 times/wk- not really a workout, but if I don't do it semiregularly my arms tire too easily and I stink ebven worse than usual. other than that, it's just pushups and pullups for the upper body.
