Hurry up and wait! a valuable lesson in business

If this toad had just used some basic business communication skills from the start this whole thing could have been avoided. What an ass, well hopefully he has learned a lesson on how NOT to business with others

I hope you are righted in this unfortunate situation Dave.

Dave,

After hearing your story first-hand yesterday, I had to go check out this thread. I'm absolutely stunned. Now I'm getting all fired up just thinking about what you've had to endure...

First of all, age is no excuse - I've been responsible/respectful since the day I was born; my parents wouldn't have it any other way. Secondly, the whole move thing is hilarious; he obviously is able to repeatedly check the boards for your PMs in order to profusely apologize time after time (but not actually do anything about the situation), so what does moving have to do with anything? Lastly, how do you misplace a package containing headlights that you're just about to ship (and I use "ship" very loosely here)?

Knowing you personally, I know that you're professional, methodical, and very particular about what you do, especially when others are involved. This crap couldn't happen to a nicer guy. I sure hope you get your money back.

I like the Bible/Pulp Fiction reference. I hope it doesn't come to you having to get medieval on HCHU304's ass on the boards.

How ironic is it that I'm coming over to your house to have my headlights cleared after work tonight? If we happen to need a non-existent spare headlight, I'll pay for our impromptu trip to CA. I know the area, so it won't take long to locate your friend.

I noticed that HCHU304's signature is a laundry list of sweet mods. Which one(s) did you help buy?

If you do in fact end up getting robbed, it will eventually come back to haunt HCHU304...

I noticed that Hooover locked his "for sale" thread just a short time ago. What amazed me about him was his last post before locking . He asked for trust while at the same showing that he's totally untrustworthy.

What is worse...and unmentioned by me (or him) up to this point is that when he received my check he IMMEDIATELY deposited it. So for all his "blah, blah, blah" about "Sooooooo sorry I've been busy, couldn't get time, yada, yada..." he didn't skip a HEARTBEAT running down to the bank and depositing my check ...

Anyway, I've received [supposed] commitment from him that he drafted a money order and mailed it to me this past Saturday. So I should receive it by this Friday or Saturday. We'll see......
