I believe that it depends on your body partially but of course only to a small extent so what TJ posted is pretty accurate and definitely accurate enough for your situation. That is even if it does close too much to put jewellery through, you'll still see it if your looking.

Indeed it is. Might as well get a lower back tatoo ( sends out the same message anyway ), but come to think of it, that's also majorly played out as well.

 

Its not classy, i think someone said something along the lines of the first thing that pops into a guys mind. And its not an image that i think you want. But at the same time its your tongue.

Actually as some have said, at least they're not obviously visible when you're in an environment where you don't want to flaunt it (i.e. work place, wedding, funeral, family event, at airport when you're meeting your parents for the first time in 6 months and you have long hair, a goatee, and an earring...., sorry I got carried away).

For myself, belly button rings on flat stomaches are very nice.

 

i actually don't mind lower back tattoos, now that is sexy IMO. but all the girls around here have tongue rings.
