To answer the original question, I would ask him to perform a miracle right then and there, like turn himself into an eagle, or transport the two of us to the beach. Then maybe my faith in religion (of which I have nil) would be renewed.

I have a question for all of you. How many of you have actaully read the bible? That shit is a great read. It really is a fantastic novel. I say novel because I believe it to be as fictional as Stephen Kings works, but it is a good book.

 

Religious aspects aside, name one historical fact in the Bible that has been catagorically disproven.

Not that I'm taking sides, because I'm not what most "religious" Christians would consider one of their own, but I have done some research into this.

 

The Bible is THE most historically accurate writing of its time. It is literally a history book. But of course one can argue how "accurate" history is as history is written by those who can live to write it (e.g. what would history say if the Assyrians had taken over all of Europe and Asia?)
