Mine was like that also, replaced.
It just gets sand blasted from driving over the years. Nothing you can really do.

Anyone ever tried the product made for this by Eastwood? It is supposed to clear up scratchesso you might try that. I have no idea how it works though but my windshield looks the same.

Restoration kits involve progressive sanding. For light-weight pitting and scratches, you can use Griot's Glass Polish with a DA and then finish it off with Griot's Fine Glass Polish. The heavier stuff will need either sanding or replacement to remove.

wet sand it, jk. new glass shouldnt cost so much unless you go OEM. The cost should be between $150-$300.

I need to replace mines to since it has a crack by the rear view mirror is located at. I'll wait until its inspection time.
