Well, looks like you are about to run a similar system to mine. I have the type R's on the doors, a V12 4 channel amp, and bridged the 3&4 to a 10 inch Alpine type E. The type R's will fit the doors but will probably need some spacers. Beware of bridging though, I had heat issues with the sub causing the amp to go into protection mode after playing music max after two hours or so. There is a long post by me if you want to read it. But basically, I solved it by modding a fan to put over the amp...now...I can go endlessly without any heat issues. But then again, most people don't listen to it as loudly as I like my music, so you "might" not get heat issues. Either way, if you do however, PM me, I can show you how I solved the problem and what to do. Any other questions, just give me a PM, hope everything works out for you, you'll love the sound once you amp the type R's and add the sub!
exactly what I plan to do, I plan on putting the amp under the pass seat and the Alpine 10 in the spare tire.

That's if I can get it all to fit.

cool so you got it to fit by cutting stock basket. sweet. Anyway let me know if you can fit it under the pass seat. I was able to put it under the drivers seat but didnt even try the passenger since I heard it was a little tighter.

When you say you are going to put the Alpine sub in the spare tire area, do you mean the tool well area??? Anyway, that is where I put mine, taking out the tool box. It is a logical place to put it, but do you sacrifice the tool box and you'll have to move it around if you get a flat in order to put the blown full wheel in there. I mounted the amp in the trunk wall to the left of the spare tire cover. I didn't want to mount the amp anywhere in the cabin because if I park somewhere and leave the top down for a while, I didn't want it to get stolen...at least in the trunk, you can lock the trunk down with the top down, but it's up to you. Also, there is going to be a lot of heat issues right under the seat, it's almost like putting a heater down there...if you have the same heat issues that I did...and if you do, there might not be enough extra room to mod fans etc. If I were you, I'd do a test without installing/wiring yet, just run your system before you install everything and see how much heat your amp puts out listening to it at your normal volume level.

yeah thats true as for amp heat. My amp gets pretty hot (live in cali its atleast 100 up here right now) and listening to like 95% volume the amp gets pretty hot but havent really noticed any problems with OVER heating, but it does get very hot to the touch.

Well I wanted to put the amp under the pass seat and the 10" (that might not fit) in the actual spare tire.

I got a supercharger and I wanted to get some of the balance back by doing so. best place (i think) to add weight is over the wheels.

If not I'll put the amp under the seat, make a bracket, add a small fan and put the 10" where the tool kit is.

I didn't really think about the heat issue, I don't want my ass burning the whole time.

Also, I don't really listen to my music all that loud. I like the sound of cruising at 5000 rpms with spurts to 9000! lol

yeah its not going to heat your seat up its just gunna get burning hot down there and possibly damage the amp. Anyway how much weight up front does the SC add??

Roughly 60lbs in front of the engine.

If anything I rather have more weight in the rear of the S.

Yeah, having a type A amp like the V12's under the seat is like having a heater on while your music is on, like I said, you might want to test how hot it gets, a fan mod might be in order if it runs hot. The thing about not listening to music loud is fine, but at highway speeds 60 mpg or higher, you almost HAVE to turn your radio near max to be able to just listen to it normally, so your amp will probably run pretty hot if you plan to do a lot of highway cruising. And since I have a V12, I know how hot it can get, literally oven hot if you don't fan mod it. So, yeah, I'd think test/rethink about the heat issue before wiring, installation.

dayum thats fast . Wow does adding a SC or turbo and what not really effect the cars handling and such? thats kinda worrysome.

I remember reading somewhere that the S isnt a perfect balance front and rear, its a little off. Anyone remember what way?

So SC+single pipe = oversteer like mad??? mad drift yo?
