Hi all

I recently purchased my '05 S about 2 months ago. I am currently in the mist of upgrading my system. I have purchased an Alpine 9833 and want to do the install this weekend. I am new to the car audio world. I just had a couple of questions before i jump into the install.

1. Do i need a wire harness to connect the stereo into my S?
2. Do i need to purchase a power wire kit for the Stereo?
3. I am also installing an amp, does the brand of amp kit matter? any recomendations to which brank anhd where i can get? (i boughht the vangough 500.4)

Yes you should get a harness, it will make things a lot easier. The brand really doesn't matter as long as it's not a really cheap kit and don't penny pinch on rca cables! Not trying to be a dick but you probably shouldn't be doing your own install if you had to write this post. It's a good way to jack up your car. If you can afford a $30,000+ car whats $100 for a deck and amp install?

1) yes you need a harness. Buy the DCI and it will come with it, otherwise, you need a HONDA 1998 and up. Not 2000, must be 1998.

Get all your amp kit need from www.knukonceptz.com

The kit will come with RCAs, but spend a few more bucks, and get the top end stuff.
