i had the same problem with aftermarket HU before

and then i connect up the power for antenna and everything works

check this out, it from another board member and he has the harness numbered and laballed

This fixed my problem! I've got AM again and the FM stations are coming in clearer...

I just did the same thing for my Alpine 7894. It's like night and day. I used to get zero AM stations and only local FM ones. Now, I'm getting a ton of AM stations and FM stations from L.A. (I live in San Diego). Thanks everyone for the info. That's why I love this website.
