Right about now I'm really being weirded out. The shut down only occurs when I play one particular cd. When I play the radio or any other cds, even if i turn the volume on max and let it play for a while it will NOT shut down at all. I came to realize this when my friend was having fun with it and decided to see what it can do

I was sure that it would power down but then it did not. I reduced it a little as to not damage the speakers but I was running the volume higher then I could with that one cd and it never shut off. This amp is just weird.

 

i have experienced things like this in the past as well when troubleshooting other systems. very bizarro, but possible. i'm still voting that you're clipping the inputs on the amp, which is shutting down to protect itself.

what's the CD or song that causes it to shut down?

 

Its a korean cd, I'll rip them out to mp3's and send them to u if you want to try it its just very werid, I havn't been listening to that cd since and so I havn't had that problem with it shutting down. I'll try to adjust the gains on the amp and try that cd once more. I'll let you know how it works out. Sound is still clear as can be though
