Modding the CR peak power Indicator

Perhaps the more important question is how you plan on changing your redline as you may find that more difficult then you imagine.

Actually its easy as two 10mm bolts and a fedex box off to Hondata. I cant confirm but I do believe he can reflash his 08 which will give him an 8600 rpm redline, and better power throughout the curve.
Rev limit is increased to 8500 with the Hondata.

Hmm I didn't think you could raise the redline with the eManage.
so... i dont suppose someone could pull up a wiring diagram for the peak power indicator? Basically, how it gets the RPM readings, and how I could potentially tap that wire. If its ECU I guess in screwed huh.
I am going to bet it's ECU controlled but that doesn't mean you couldn't tap into the cluster harness and isolate the connection for the light.
A Modifry Shift Beeper would make easier work of things because you'd be able to use his system of tach recognition and simply wire your dash light into the output of the beeper. Maybe even keep the audible beep and visual also. While you're at it, replace your peak power LED with a SUPER bright LED that'll be extra visible on the track.
