just be forewarned -- this sub pretty much sucks. don't expect much out of it. the ole phrase "No highs, no lows, it must be BOSE" wasn't just made up to be bad PR.

Its requires major modifications to the dash and relocation of the SRS system brain. This should only be done by a shop or a VERY compatent do it yourselfer.

Well shop is can be a generic kinda thing - make sure it is valid competent shop that has experience modding higher end cars. I would not bring it to BB or CC and expect things to be spectacular when they were done with the job (although there are a couple guys I know that work for these places that do excellent work - but not the norm).

^^^^Excellent point^^^^ Don't bring it to just any old shop... make sure they know what their doing. Most good shops take pictures of their work.

I'm not sure... he "worked" (past tense) there... I wonder why he doesn't work there any more

On the subject of sub location, I wanted to put mine somewhere effective, that wouldn't comprimise any trun space, so my installer put it into the space between the firewall and the passenger footwell, perforated my carpet, and sealed it all back up. Looks stock, sounds great. It's a 10" alumipro sub being fed 200 watts. In the pic you can also see the tweeter pods he made me that are moulded around the door inserts. (AP1, no tweeters stock)

Dinnyin, you probably want to include that info into another thread, as it probably won't get noticed here. most likely would be the install photos thread.
