Does it fit in the space in the trunk where the spare tire is?
I'm not sure, but you sure wouldn't want it there.. you wouldn't be able to hear it thru the extra layers.

Or unless you get rid of the convertible tray on top of it then you just might be able to hear some, but i would think its still too small for the trunk

JVC #CS-BB2 is a self powered 6" subwoofer. The sub is about 11.5 x 8 inches in area and about 2.5 inches high. It has a max power of 120 watts. I have only seen pictures of this sub in a magazine and on the web. I have not heard how it sounds but based on the pictures it looks like a better fit then the Kenwood. www.earthcommerce.com picture and price.

Okay, I finally got this thing and installed it. Overall, I am happy with the setup cuz it fills in the bass that I was missing. It doesn't hit hard and loud like a 12" but what would you expect from this lil thing?

I am using MB Quart PCE 216s in the front powered by an MTX 5202 amp and a stock head unit.

This thing does a good job filling the bass in the cabin. I had no clue that a 6.5 inch speaker could produce such lows... It's not overpowering bass and if you turn it up too loud, it will distort. You have to adjust the gain and the frequency to get a good balance. It allows me to turn up the frequency to my mids allowing them to hit tighter and get bass from this thing. Guns n roses -november rain- sounds great. When i play something like Stan by eminem, the bass sounds as deep as my 12"(when they were in the trunk of my audi).

I don't know how the dude who originally posted this could've been happy with this behind the driver's seat unless he was like 5'4 tho.. i am 5'7 and would not be able to have this behind my seat.. you lose 4" of leg room.

I have it just sitting behind the passenger seat and can easily remove it if anyone taller than 5'6" sits up front.. unless it's for a short trip.. then they will have to suffer for a bit..
So, I take it there were no problems, or modification issues with seat clearance?
