If it was a bad crossover it wouldn't have switched sides when he switched the wires.

Next you want to swap the RCA's. Just just move the red lead to the white and the white to the red. Could just be bad RCA's.

We have to test to see if its the RCA cable's, the amp or the HU.

Try that and report back
ok those are swapped and i will give full report when i drive home from work.


hopefully its not the HU b/c that part i actually like, the RCA's are relatively cheap and the amp was used anyways so even tho they are kinda expensive i wouldnt mind buying another one

I think that makes the amp your culprit . Should be easy to replace as all the wiring is already in place- just get a similar sized amp...

The amp could be the problem. I would check the ground location one more time before you run out and grab an amp. Make sure its a good one.

it is bolted down on that rear strut bar thing. ive sanded it down real good too b/c i had a problem with it earlier

if it were the ground wouldnt it do it to both sides?

i'll prolly go with something a little better. the one i have is only a 2 channel but i think i might add a sub to it here pretty soon
