My temps are held really nicely in check with my heat exchanger setup. If your doing road racing in a turbo Id recommend you keep the boost low and fit an oil temp gauge with a vented bonnet (hood lol)

Ps After fixing a snapped driveshaft I blew my gearbox too

Anyone know the cost of repairing 2nd gear? Does honda sell 2nd gear seperate?

My friend blew his 2nd gear racing at buttonwillow and instead of buying a used transmission he bought a 1st and 2nd gear and have a shop install it. I think everything was $400-$500

I didnt have this info and I wish I did. I spent 1400 on the trans. I wish it was 500$

Maybe for parts. But I don't see that beig the total bill.

Even if he brought the trans to them it would be more money.

1400$ is a lot, theirs a few on ebay for a lot cheaper, did you check their?

it has 30k miles on it and I paid $400 for the life time warranty. so 1000$ shipped 400 warranty
