Damn your still running the CDV? I'm surprised you have any clutch left. Got to be hurting your 1/4 times too.

s2000junky post sounds exactly like what I am dealing with. Lots of noise in and out of gear but all gears still work. When I press the clutch all is silent but if i let it out slowly with e-brake up car wants to move with no noise. But as soon as i move about 3 mph or more, all the noise in the world... I was planning on rebuilding with synchrotech when the funds come in and have all gears and shafts WPC treated for some upgraded fluid and strength protection. Any thoughts.

i understand with time that s2000 tranny is weak but some people have them for couple of years with 350-400 whp and have no proplem, i think its a coner flip , if you blow one just buy another one for 800$ and drive carefuly , the 7-8k$ + 4K diff its just stupid , 12k for a tranny and a diff for a 9-10k car is uselss , just buy a Z06 or a normal vett for this price , when my tranny gonna blow im gonna change them for a jdm one for 800$ thats it , still far from the 7-8k V160
