Fixed my problem the easy way. I was running an 02 ecu on my MY01 car. I swapped the original ecu back in and the hot start issue is gone. I guess the 01 that I had just deals with it better????? It has been 93 degrees and 90 percent humidity just about every day for the last couple weeks and when I heatsoak the car now it will stumble a tiny bit on startup but never dies. I can even put the top down when idling without have to rev it.

I guess that was cheating for finding a fix for it but hey, whatever works.
How long ago did you swap the PCM?

My guess is that once it learns the AF curve it will start doing it again - I could always correct my issue by unplugigng the power for a couple minutes. It would always relearn the bad habit.

I know this is no help... but I haven't had this issue at all. It's been 100+ here.

A few weeks now. For what it is woth, the 02 ECU I had would have the problem even after a couple attempts to reset. The 01 ECU never had the problem when I swapped it in, and I have run it about a couple weeks at least.

I don't think it is a difference in the fuel map though, just one of those things where there performance of a machine(computer) can vary I guess.
