Greddy Turbo Kit !DYNO!
The only question i have as far as the kit giving 280 whp vs the inline kit giving more. Why cant you just turn up the boost on the greddy kit. That 18g gave my wrx like 370whp around 18lbs of boost. but however how much realistly hp difference would the kit make. i want like around 350 to 380 to the wheels would the greddy kit be a good idea or should i stick with the inline pro kit...
im still kinda favoiring inline pro tho. I just need someone i can trust to install it.

[QUOTE=MugenRioS2k,Jun 14 2007, 03:12 PM] You are correct but how is the CARB guy going to check to see if you have or have not modified it......
All you do is create you own maps and lock them with your own password.
That way just incase they do try and look at your settings with a laptop they are still locked
The ULT is not set up to totally lock you out of the system
AKA locked to the point you can

How did Comptech get away with using an adjustable FPR (which allows the owner to tune somewhat and isn't "locked" in any way what-so-ever)?

Would "guess" that they had to demonstrate that the car would remain in an acceptable A/F range given the range of adjustment of the FPR.

The CTSC and VTSC typically run lean out of the box. I would be surprised if anyone would be able to make one of them run overly rich with the range available on the FPR.

Anyone know how they got away with it? Seems to me that the same "exempton" might apply to a piggy back ECU, but ...
GReddy kits have never been about making big numbers. They are more so for a little extra oomph in daily drivers while keeping them reliable. Fortunately the kits released by GReddy are usually able to handle a lot more boost and generate a lot more power with an EBC and good tune. Just make sure your S2000's components are up for the extra power.
