S2000 Forced Induction S2000 Turbocharging and S2000 supercharging, for that extra kick.

Has anybody else had problems with Haltech Platinum Pro?

This is awesome! I forgot about this thread. As far as coils I swapped in 04-05 coils into my 00, bought new spark plugs, ohm tested my cam/crank sensors. Everything checked out and the new parts did not help at all.

I have been speaking with Matt from Haltech via e-mail about this issue. They have found some local s2000's that are having the same problems as us and have updated the hardware on the ECU's. They are currently putting hours on the cars and beta testing it to make sure the problem is solved. Matt has been really helpful, keeping me updated with everything that is going on. I will keep you guys updated as I hear more. Hopefully this problem will be resolved soon

Cheers for the update. If this fix requires a hardware update I'm assuming all the affected units will need to be replaced?

I absolutely love my Haltech so far and I have yet to have this problem on my S2000. Although I'm not up in this RPM range a lot. I'm interested to see what it is though, and if it is a hardware problem, I would imagine our units will be replaced.

OP, what are your plugs gapped to? What heat range plugs are you using? Also, what are the dwell settings on the coils? What dwell are the OEM coils able to endure? Why hasn't anybody asked these questions?

There are many possibilities for a misfire issue besides faulting the EMS.
