S2000 Forced Induction S2000 Turbocharging and S2000 supercharging, for that extra kick.

Has anybody else had problems with Haltech Platinum Pro?

There are many possibilities for a misfire issue besides faulting the EMS.
Why have you not read through the thread?

I HAVE read through the entire thread and that's why I am asking the painfully obvious questions, but thanks for the helpful reply...

He has tried replacing his coils with OEM units and plugs, but doesn't list any gap or dwell settings. Trying new parts only confirms that the parts he had on it are operating like new, but it still doesn't mean they are sufficient for the tune.

I just want to chime in also...
I am running Haltech Ps1000 in my 2.4. I have the starting issue and a weird stumble/sputter/hesitation at around 7,000 rpm. I am glad I found this thread for a while I was thinking my tuner did not tune the car properly but that is in fact not the case. Hope this can be resolved.

JamieP, can you pm me Matts email? I would like to contact him and find out what they plan to do about fixing the issue for those of us that are affected, assuming the new hardware is the sure fix for the problem of course.

Thanks!

Have you adjusted the post-start enrichment to help with start up?

Evans did after I gave him a data log. It seems to start up better if I wait ten seconds or so and hold the gas down as I start the car. I just realized that my "sputter" is actually closer to 6k rpm.

Matt,

Is there any new info on this problem? Some tuners are refusing to work with this ECM until this potential problem is resolved.

I've also found that a tad bit of throttle while trying to start helps.

I emailed Haltech the other day trying to get info for us and was told at the time that Matt was back in Australia for the holidays, but he was copied on the email I sent. I would think he is back by now since I saw some post on the Haltech forums by who I assume was him. Maybe if some more people can email Haltech support requesting an update, they can get back with us a little quicker. I want mine fixed before I install it though so I dont have the hassle to deal with.
