I currently make 442whp on 91 octane at 14psi. I should be making 600-650whp on on e85 with a lot more boost.

So if the flex fuel tune is setup correctly. I will never need to drain the tank of 91 octane when switching to e85 correct? I will never need to hook up the aem ems to a PC to change to the e85 map? The ems will automatically raise the boost and raise the timing and inturn raise the Hp depending on the percentage of ethanol in the tank. Is this correct?

Benton, that's correct. You won't need to drain the tank nor will you need to upload a different map each time. Just be sure that your E85/91 maps are solid. The EMS will raise the boost/timing as a function of ethanol percentage (as dictated by your blend/ethanol table(s)). Keep in mind the blend vs ethanol % 2d table is present for the flex fuel/flex timing/flex boost tabs; you have the option to change them individually or keep them uniform (which is what I'm doing currently).

Nice. I think I'm going to get this flex fuel sensor and do the same thing your doing. I just need to talk to my tuner too see if be has any expearance with this yet.

When Your gauge reads e 50. Do you feel like the car is a lot faster than your straight 93 octane tune? I would think with e50 you should have at least 50-100 more whp.

Awesome! The sensor I'm using: http://paceperformance.com/i-1080149...ensor-e85.html The harness: http://paceperformance.com/i-8396465...r-harness.html The car feels faster; I'll try to toss the car on a dyno for a few power pulls after I add a few more degrees of timing back in. The car certainly smells a lot better lol (I'm running open downpipe).
