I've compete 5 12-20 hr trips on my street setup and more than 10 3-5 hour trips and have never given it a rest because of heat issues. Quality parts don't warp from a road trip and quality turbos can be driven more than 100k miles if properly taken care of. This spring I'll be driving from Fort Lauderdale to San Francisco with a few touristy stops in between. Keep in mind your maintenance before you leave and in my case I'll be getting an oil change before I head back. I built my car to be driven and that I do. Good luck op
