I have a similar issue going on. Ptuning 3076, stock motor, stock exhaust, custom testpipe, and my tuner and i couldnt get the aem ems to run the mac solenoid properly. The turbo would want to product 30+ psi like running a open wastegate. so we took that out and threw a direct vaccum line on from turbo to wg. and it runs 7psi perfect like the wastegate spring is. So then we put a manual boost controller on and started turning it up and try to hit our target 13.8psi but even with the MBC all the way up we were only able to reach 11.2psi... can anyone shed some light onto the situation... just should i get a aem boost solenoid? change the wastegate spring? Setup wise i want to have a 13-14psi map on stock exhaust and then a qtp dump with a 20-25psi map with methanol injection.

Hey dude, it ended up being bad wiring. got that sorted out and it worked fine from then on. It still got hot, but it works properly ever since.
