Mase Engineering 6262B Build Thread
Okay so last week my air filter melted complete off. It then got lodged between the frame and belts and pulled off my drain line. Luckily it was hanging by a thread and did come off completely.
So I called Racepartsolutions.com and they cut me a 4" dia 2" long silicone coupling, a 2" long 4" diameter aluminum pipe and a few 4" clamps. They did a great job and were happy to help.
Rather than buy another K&N I also ordered an AEM Dryflow 21-205DK which has a much thicker flange than the K&N did.

I've got that same filter directly on my turbo and havent had any problems.
It is getting better, I have installed the factory exhaust which is great and have been working on the tune and it is running better.
I am still not sold on the Innovative mounts, they are defiantly more solid but there is quite a bit more vibration. I think I am going to switch back to factory motor mounts.
Other than that I have been doing some testing and tuning mostly.
TrboKev, was gracious enough to put me and my wife up for the week in SoCal and while I am here I left the car at the shop to have it detailed, buffed and the cutout installed.
