Yes that crossed my mind but it is not worth spending the money on as I do have hopes for 550WHP on 91 still.

Who knows what the future will bring, but my guess is a new low end is not far off.
New low end? What happened to no more big projects Scott? lol. This constant progression we all sucumb to. SHould be good. Im keeping stock motor. The next level costs too damn much.

I know how he feels, all we can do is laugh now and think about the dollar signs to come.
I was on the phone with him yesterday while I was doing a leak down and determined my gasket was leaking, so he decided to check his while we were still talking. His turned out just like mine...
Pressurize number one cylinder with the radiator cap off and the coolant level rises.

This just sucks. I took a ride in Scott's car and it was running really well. Smooth as silk with plenty of power. I would be pretty upset if it was my car for sure. I am going to keep stock headgasket and use e85 if I want more power.

Good luck to both of you.

How much faster did your gt30 spool compared to the 6262 like 1000 rms or 500
On the dyno like 800/1000 rpm, which in the real world doesn't seem like anything, but the car was ALOT different to drive, the throttle response was INSTANT. This car is laggier, and I don't like it to be honest.

More power, comes more problems, so in a way w/550whp I'd be better off in the end I think. Have spent less $$ and wouldn't have to be rebuilding a motor and worrying about a tranny/rearend down the road.

Then you have the build quality of the turbo, I'm not happy there either, but thats another thread I guess.

Maybe I wont do a leakdown test, I will just drive it until it explodes then part it out, sick and F-- tired of worrying about it and literally pissing away money that really should be going elsewhere. Don't get me wrong I am very happy with the Twinscroll 35r, perfect balance between spool and top end, just am growing very tired of constantly worrying..........

thats how i am with my car also lol, i love it to death, but honestly wish i left it the f**k alone and never turboed it, so many little issues, so much money down the drain, when i get mine all said and done i may just put a for sale sign on it to see what i can get, i find myself enjoying a stock car with factory reliability more than driving a 700whp beast that might break the next time i hit the gas.....

but thats all part of the game i guess

My JB 6262 is fully spooled by 4950 rpm at 24 psi of boost and ~5000 rpm at 29 psi of boost, but I am on e85. E85 helps spool the turbo faster. Before, when on 110 race fuel, full spool of 27-28 psi was at 5150 rpm.
