Do you guys that run flex fuel mapping just buy the GM stuff or the zetronix (sp) kit
I won't be doing the aem stuff with tuning this year but would like to view my ethanol content
I think the majority just buy the GM sensor/plug (which is all you need if you have AEM Series 2 or Infinity) and buy the Zeintronix gauge if you need it (like I did with my Haltech). The AEM Series 2 and Infinity can accept the signal straight from the GM sensor, but the Haltech needs analog signal so you have to use the Zeintronix gauge outputs.
Sweet thanks ! Should save me some money then

I also blocked the sides of the radiator with foam, so everything is going through vs. around.
I just got my car on the road and my temps seem to be upper 190s to around 210...turbo with mishimoto Rad,fans shroud. About 74-80 out. This is at about 60mph. Would removing the shroud help? I bought it to help cool. :/

It lowered mine...but you must understand that I don't drive normal. Mostly highway, and 80 mph is probably the slowest I go...with lots of woo hoo moments. With that said, I was seeing high 190's and into the 200's, removed shroud and now as I mentioned earlier, 196 was the highest I saw!!! I am sure they have an advantage, and someone will let us know shortly. Just seems to me that there is a lot of surface area that is not being utilized with the shroud...

I usually pull over above 210 but I don't have the a/c on ever so it usually doesn't get that high even sitting in traffic.

Well I'm running a modify ect with my AEM and if I'm moving it stays at 3 bars but in town it goes from 3-4 bars. Modifrys site says 3 bars is 190 the 4th comes on at 205. Not sure if I should worry or not. I may have to bleed the coolant again. I don't know what a safe range is.

Try taking the shroud off and check to make sure your fans are turning correctly. Hook up a laptop to the AEM and watch temps that way.

I had a blue/yellow cable and a brown cable I think on the fans lol and then I had to extend the fan plug about 10" on the drivers side and I must have swapped the wires when I did that because my fan was turning the wrong way

I dont think your temp switch is needed...the ems should control when the fans kick on and off, or at least that is how mine is set up.

My fan kick on at 190 and turn off at 185. So far it works flawlessly
