I just replaced my whineboro with an AEM...thought that was an issue I was encountering...ended up not being the problem, but as you know they are noisy and mine was getting really loud...so at least I got a quiet pump.

Does swapping out for a stand alone change info sent to the speedo? I thought the speed sensor and gauge cluster were separate.

With my piggyback, redlining 2nd would read 62/63. Now with the standalone (Haltech) I wind out second and the speedo reads 68. Nothing else has changed. (tires/gears/wheels)

Don't know if the Haltech might be allowing an extra 200 rpm or so into the red area, but not sure if that is my imagination. Have to double check the tune.

I have a similar question that I've been meaning to ask. My speedo is 2 MPH off in the 75 MPH range. So when my speedo is indicating 77 MPH I'm actually going 75 MPH (according to GPS). I was wondering if my Haltech ECU could adjust for this? Is there an adjustment setting that anyone knows of?

Isn't the stock speed sensor off a little bit? I've read that it reads higher than actual speed.

I dunno if it is or not from the factory. Alls I know is mine is off now and I'd love to fix it if my Haltech can do that. I do have AP2 wheels/tire sizes on an AP1 so that might be contributing.

I'm finishing hooking up my mac solenoid boost controller to my haltech ecu. I am just how hard it is to set the boost level in the ecu and if open or closed loop is the way to go?

I no longer have boost. It's amazing how much I've been enjoying the car for what honda made it. But I'm coming back in here when SOS has another group buy I think

Let's see if we can't get that arranged for you! I would think they would do something over the winter, slow times and all.

About 4000rpm's for me. It really depends on track conditions. Also my turbo spools quickly so no issue there.
